Short rules of the tournament
- The Russian Championship is held in two stages – a preliminary stage and a playoff stage.
The playoff stage
Quarterfinal series
- According to the results of the preliminary stage, the teams ranked 1-8 advance to the quarter-finals of the playoff stage.
- Pairs of quarterfinal series teams:
- The 1st-place team meets the 8th-place team.
- The 2nd place team with the 7th place team,
- The 3rd place team with the 6th place team,
- The team that took the 4th place with the team that took the 5th place.
- The quarter-finals are held until 2 wins.
- Match schedule:
- Matches will be played on March 20-21 (the first match) and, if necessary, on March 27-28 (the third match) on the fields of the teams ranked 1-4 in the preliminary round;
- March 24-25 (second match) – on the fields of the teams ranked 5-8 in the preliminary round.
- The winners of the quarterfinal series advance to the semifinals.
Semifinal series
- According to the results of the quarter-finals of the playoff stage, the winners advance to the semi-finals of the playoff stage.
- The pairs of teams in the semifinal series are distributed according to the rating based on the results of the preliminary stage:
- The first pair, the team with the highest rating, meets with the team with the lowest rating among the semifinalists,
- The second pair, the team with the second ranking after the preliminary stage, meets with the team with the third ranking among the semifinalists.
- The semi-finals are held up to 3 wins.
- Match schedule:
- The matches will be played on April 2-5 (the first and second matches) and, if necessary, on April 14-15 (the fifth match) on the fields of teams with a higher rating.;
- March 8-9 (third match) and, if necessary, April 10-11 (fourth match) – on the fields of teams with a lower rating.
Final series
- According to the results of the semi-finals of the playoff stage, the winners advance to the finals of the playoff stage, and the losers enter the series for 3rd place..
- The final is held up to 3 wins..
- Match schedule:
- The matches will be played on April 19-22 (the first and second matches) and, if necessary, on May 2 (the fifth match) on the fields of teams with a higher rating;
- April 25-26 (third match) and, if necessary, April 27-28 (fourth match) – on the fields of teams with a lower rating.
Preliminary stage
- The games of the preliminary stage in groups are held in two rounds.
- At the preliminary stage, the results of all group games (wins, points, games, balls) are counted.
- In all games, the teams receive:
- for a victory with a score of 3:0 and 3:1 - three points,
- for a victory with a score of 3:2 - two points,
- for a defeat with a score of 2:3 - one point,
- for a defeat with a score of 0:3 and 1:3 - zero points,
- for failure to appear A defeat is counted for the team's game, and one point is deducted from it.
If she fails to attend the game again, she will be removed from the competition..
- The places in the preliminary stage are determined by the highest number of wins scored by the teams.
If the number of wins of two or more teams is equal, the places are determined sequentially by:- 1. the number of points in all games,
- 2. the ratio of the parties in all games,
- 3. the balls ratio in all games,
- 4. the ratio of wins in games between them,
- 5. the ratio of points in games between them,
- 6. the ratio of parties in games between them,
- 7. the ratio of balls in games between them.
